Poor kid.

Let me preface this with the fact that this has happened on 3 occasions now. The two prior were more closely bundled together with the second being of mostly the same result.

Some kid keeps texting my friggin’ phone thinking the number he has belongs to some girl “Alex”. As far as I know “Alex” could be a girl, guy, or some trans-gender wonder-being, who knows. Anyway, the most recent conversation follows:

Listen, guy. Your are not a needle in a stack of needles. You are unique and easily picked out if a crowd. You should not make statements when you are total strangers with someone.

Does it matter? I know that you are from Pine-Richland, were in a car accident and suck at 5k’s. I also know what you look like and how old you are. So, please knocknoff the name calling and stop txting me.

“Stay Away”

If there is a handmade sign labeled: “STAY AWAY” does that make anyone else want to take a peek?

3-2 Series Lead Is No Lead.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are on the cusp of a series victory over the Philadelphia Flyers in the opening round of the playoffs leading 3 games to 2, but one wouldn’t know that after watching a disheartened and deflated club take the ice in the past 3 games. Their edge in the series is only held by nothing short of stellar play from netminder Marc-Andre Fleury. Much of the time is spent controlled (almost dominated) by Flyers play. They are dictating where and when the Pens go with the puck, particularly through the neutral zone and as they enter the attacking zone. The Flyers heavy pressure on the Penalty Kill has held the Penguins impotent Power Play to just 13.3%. Game 6 is back in Philadelphia with another chance to close the series, but in the raucous, loud arena of the Wachovia Center, the Penguins will need to show a sense of urgency to advance.
